Who We Are
We’re a family-run business with a long connection to racket sports and club development. Our roots go back to Portugal in the 1980s, when Benno van Veggel first got involved in the industry — and that passion for sport and community naturally carried into the next generation. The Racket Center brand itself began in Portugal in the 1990s, and today we’re excited to bring that same spirit and experience to the U.S.
As a family office, we focus on building and operating sports and lifestyle projects that bring people together. Padel quickly became a big part of that vision. We love how social, competitive, and accessible the sport is, and we saw an opportunity to create clubs where players of all levels can enjoy great facilities, a welcoming atmosphere, and a strong sense of community.
We stay very hands-on with every project. Whether you’re coming to compete, train, meet friends, or just try padel for the first time, our goal is simple: create a place where people genuinely enjoy spending time on and off the court.
